As a writer and a woman she is constantly encumbered by the intrusive thoughts of society into her private space of self-expression. She feels shackled by rules that she must follow, and that she follows despite sometimes her strongest resistance. Most times she feels like she is slowly marching toward her death, the hand of society an unyielding noose around her neck.
But sometimes, in unexpected and unexplained ways, she escapes, drops from the noose unnoticed. And she is magnificent. She floats around in a halo of light and love, embracing all around her. She is the symbol of all that we want to be in our deepest parts.
She is a free woman.
